Maintenance

We will fix anything that needs to be fixed, paint everything and hire cleaners to do a sanitization clean before you move-in. The last thing we do is change the Locks so only you and us have a key to your apartment.

We do! We havd between 1 - 4 maintenance staff for each of our communities

In your resident portal, there is a maintenance tab where you can file a request. We can also help you over the phone and we can file it for you

Our maintenance team has 48 hours (2 business days) to look at your work order and follow up with you to get it taken care of. If they need to send out for a vendor, they will let you know.

Nope! You'd just need to give permission to enter if you're not home

We unfortunately don't do afterhours lock-outs, but if it is during business hours, we'll just need your ID to verify it's your apartment and we can get you right in!

Yes, as long as you put everything back the way you found it ( correct paint colors and no holes in the wall)

Amenities

We have a controlled access, reserved parking garage, a co-working lounge, 24-hour fitness center, free bike storage,  a dog park, a dog Wash, 4 BBQs, ping pong, a fire pit, a resident clubhouse with a kitchen, trash chutes on every floor, and elevators. We don't have a pool at Hazel, but we have an outdoor rooftop Oasis which is always open for use the entire year!

It Is! We offer a reserved parking spot in our controlled access garage. It is $125 for regular spots and $165 for an EV spot, but you don't pay more at the plug!

Every apartment at Hazel has a washer & dryer in unit. They are usually in the bedroom closet or in a separate laaundry room located by the front door of the apartment.

We are very pet-friendly! We also have a dog park as well as a pet wash.

$250 Pet Fee (Non-refundable) $250 Pet Deposit (refundable) $25 per pet per month with a 2 pet per household limit.

No more than 2 pets are permitted per home with a maximum weight of 75 pounds. Pets must be spayed and neutered. The following breeds are not permitted: (this includes mixed breeds and/or similar bloodlines) PitBulls, American Pit Bull/Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Doberman, Rottweiler, Akita, Wolf Hybrid, Chow. Additional breeds may be added if deemed necessary. If we find that your pet displays aggression, we reserve the right to deny your application or remove your pet from the premises. No exotic pets are allowed at any time.

There is! It is located in our outdoor oasis on the 2nd floor and it's 24-hours.

Heating, AC ports, Fridge, flat top stoves, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer & dryer, ceiling fans, walk-in closets*, fan in the bathrooms.

We have parcel pending lockers. It is a one time set-up fee of $20 and your packages will be securely delivered and you will be sent a code. If the package is oversized, it will be brought up to your apartment

Our fitness center is 24 hours

Quiet hours are from 10 pm - 8 am every day. To use communal spaces, it is a $250 deposit, half of which is refundable

Very! You can reach us anytime Monday - Saturday from 9 am - 6 pm via phone, email or text. We are onsite 5 out of the 6 days a week that we are open.

Our application process is all online and I can send a link to your email for you to apply.

It can take up to 5 business days depending on where you are from. If you're from California, it may take up to a month.

Your move-in costs are based on your move-in date so we can pro-rate your move-in costs, as well as your screening results. It also depends on if you have pets and/or a vehicle

Make a list of what you want before you leave your current home with what is a non-negotiable and what you can live without. Also, drive by the communities you want to tour to make sure you like the area and the building itself before you go in for a tour. It can save you so much time because pictures can be deceiving! Also, ask about the parking availability for your time frame, as well as any specials or sister properties they might have if you like the leasing staff & community as a whole.

Rent is due on the 1st at our community and there is a grace period until the 5th. As of the 6th, your rent will be late with a late fee of $125.00. We accept online payments through our resident portal, Text to pay, and we work with Flex rent! Our portal opens for you to pay rent on the 21st of the month before it's actually due. This way, you could also split your rent payment into 2 payments or pay early if you like! We also accept checks, and certified funds until the 5th. After the 5th the portal closes and rent must be brought to the office in the form of certified funds only.

You can go to www.liveathazel.com and go to the resident portal. It will be the same login you used when you applied.

If you have a pet, it is $25 per pet per month w/ a 2 pet limit. Parking is also monthly for either $125 for regular spots and $165 for EV spots.

You are! You are more than welcome to purchase it through your current car insurance or go through ePremium. the website is www.ePremium.com

None of your utilities are included.

All utilities except for electricity, will be set up for you. Your electricity will be through Snohomish PUD and you can set it up here: https://www.snopud.com/account/my-account/start-stop-service/

You can choose whoever you'd like! For our building,however, we have highspeed fiber already installed with Xfinity, Ziply and Wave.

We do! Our referral bonuses change often so it depends when you refer someone, but as of right now, it is a $400 referral bonus.

You are aloud to have guests stay up to 14 days without being added to the lease.

Due to fair housing, we can't offer just one person a lower rate. We also don't accept rent in advance.

Your security deposit stays with the original apartment. Per our compant policy, your deposit holds your apartment at move-in, and takes care of cleaning and move-out charges after you leave. A new deposit will be needed to hold your new apartment.

We do not allow subletting, but if you have a roommate whose income qualifies for the apartment by themselves, we can promote them and take you off the lease.

You will owe 2 months' worth of rent as well as any concessions you received at move-in. We also have a second option where you can pay the reletting fee. For this option, you would buy out the rest of your lease upfront, and if we rent it before the end of your term, we return the rest of your money to you.

Location

There is! We are right on the local bus line and 5 minutes to the Link Lightrail which is (hopefully) opening this summer in Mt. Lake Terrace.

We have one onsite! We are also close to Esperance Dog Park.

The entrance to our building is on 234th Street. You'll turn into the parking garage and there will be future resident parking on the left. The glass doors to the right are where we are. Dial 001 to get to the leasing office. Please visit our Maps Page for more detailed directions.
